Wonderland...

This earth was created to inhabit and create life. I believe that we all serve a purpose and that we all have a choice. Life is all about choices; the right and wrong. We all reach a crossroads throughout our journey in life and whether we go left or right all depends on us. We subconsciously make decisions everyday to evoke action. Sometimes we have to take the road less traveled to get to where we need to be. Your destiny may be right in your grasp but it is completely up to you to acknowledge and let that destiny manifest.

This world consist of billions of people along with a myriad of things to do and see. Only an ignorant person would say they have done it all but a wise man in his travels knows that there is much more to life that is unbeknownst. You have got to be fearless and face the world ready to learn and explore the many things life has to offer. I always say "Be Blessed and Dress to Impress". That is something to live by. You never know what you may encounter on your journey through life.

Lately I have been hearing the term "YOLO" (You Only Live Once) being used as an excuse to do things that aren't necessarily concur to the norms of society. I do agree with the fact that you do indeed "only live once" but will the decisions you make tarnish your reputation or (God forbid) your well being. Remember this saying while you're out there in the world: "YODO" (You Only Die Once). Be mindful of the choices that you make and how it may affect your present and most importantly; your future.

I hope you think about this article when you come across a fork in the road. May you have faith and reap all of the joy and love that the world has to offer.

The Reality of.. OZ?

We all know about the infamous movie "The Wizard of Oz" but lets have peek beyond the surface of each character.

Lets start with the cowardly lion. The poor lion was a beast with no courage. That's like having the nicest dick game in the world but too shy to get at the girls. My solution for the lion is to simply grow some balls. Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.. not at the end of the rainbow. But lion, your alright in my book... with ya asexual ass.
Next up is the tin man himself. Now the tin man is a pure klutz but desired a heart. Some say he just wanted to be loved.. but how can someone as cold as "tin" be capable of loving another (socially speaking). Who needs a heart when a heart can be broken.. My solution for the tin man is to just be the cold hearted bachelor you were meant to be.
Here's to the scarecrow. Now, the scarecrow is a smart man.. and he didn't even have a brain. But out of all things he could have wished for... he wished for a brain. Maybe he wanted to learn about new things, further his education at the local Emerald City Community College or even the University of Oz. The scarecrow already had courage and learned early on that a heart isn't necessary when your already living. My solution for the scarecrow is to go all the way and get ya masters/doctorate.
Last but definitely not least is Mrs. Dorothy. Dorothy just wanted to go home and we can all relate to that. It's hard being thrown into a new world complete with villages of little people, green witches, flying monkeys and trees that fight back... not to mention the characters above! We have all been somewhere or stuck in a predicament where we wish we could just click our heels together 3 times to send ourselves back to the norms and realities that are routine for us. Unfortunately life doesn't quite work like that all the time. My solution for Dorothy is to either deal with the situation or hop in that Aston Martin and be on to the next.

Now if I was thrown in some crazy world such as OZ and told to "follow the yellow brick road" just make sure my feet are fly..

Land of the Misfit Hoes.

In a world where celebrities are looked at as deities instead of regular human beings such as ourselves I see why it is easy to lose touch with "reality". I think it starts when we're all young. Disney makes movies with happy endings.  You know the whole song and dance... princesses always have the picture perfect lives with just the right amount of drama to keep them busy until they find prince charming. But what if Ciderella didn't go to the ball? Would she have gotten a 9-5 and bought her own glass slippers RED BOTTOMS?Photobucket

Everyone wants the glamorous life complete with a closet full of expensive things, a successful man to take care of them and a myriad of people that follow and answer every beck and call. Who wouldn't like that? To be honest, I would love designers begging to dress me. All I would have to do is go out to eat at some fancy restaurant and get paid. Everything would come easy. My cardio would consist of me lifting my finger to swipe my black card...with no credit limit.

You have girls who are famous for just being famous like Amber Rose, Paris Hilton, and Kim Kardashian. The only difference is that they have connections, a good stylist, scandal, a banging body and most importantly MONEY. Kim K is all over the media because of her failed marriage fluke to Kris Humphries. Let's face it, Kris Humphries got got. Although I do have a ton of respect for Kim for milking the media tit for as long as she did. The girl got paid big time. All she has to do is continue to keep folk interested by doing the least. I can't knock her grind... she has earned it by sucking and fucking her way to the top. Kim K... girl.. I'm just "Keeping it Real".

I guess reality stars and media whores can teach us all a lesson and that is if they aren't talking about you then you must be doing something wrong. So until I get to where I'm going I'm gonna grind until my goals are fulfilled and dreams become reality.
